I have found that when I run CCleaner every day at startup it is deleting my Windows folder preferences, such as such as display option for the files.
Is there anyway to protect these options from being deleted or reset by the program?

Hello fireworksfx and welcome to the forum
Do you have "window size/ location cache" ticked under the advanced options?
If so try unticking it.
Also to help you get the best out of ccleaner give this a read.
