I went to piriform to update my free CCleaner and it doesn't have an option for free cleaner anymore so I tried tried to install the professional free trial and when I click on 'Activate free trail', it goes on saying "Activating Trial" then it comes up with "A Connection to server not established". http://prntscr.com/eyhs34

Are you seeing this at the bottom when you go to the Update page?
Just click on the "No thanks" and you will be redirected to the page with the free download.
and if you want to download the newest version directly from piriform and not from filehippo:
1.) click not on DOWNLOAD!
2.) scroll down this download-side to the bottom
3.) click on builds
