I work in a k-12 school district as One of the network Administrators. I've recently set up ccleaner to autoclean by use of a GPO using a Logon Script. It runs the CCleaner portable with the /auto switch, which i've saved into the Sysvol folder for our Domain. I've configured the CCleaner.ini with everything I want, But I've noticed the Applications tab under the Cleaner does not get included into the .ini file.
Is there a way to add this? The main reason I ask is firefox gets affected by the Applications tab.
Hope someone can help, If not maybe a future improvement?

CCleaner.ini gets written only when you tick and untick items.
For example, if I tick "Saved Form Information" for firefox
then an entry will appear at the bottom of the ccleaner.ini like this:
I believe he is saying you should uncheck and recheck everything because the lines are added to ccleaner.ini as you check them. IE if you load the program origionally then switch to save all settings to ccleaner.ini, the old boxes that were checked wouldn't make it over to ccleaner.ini.

Did that make sense?
I've tried that, I've unchecked and rechecked everything. The box "save all settings to INI" is checked as well. The items on the application page do not get added to the ini file.

Humm... That's weird.
Make sure that the "portable.dat" file is present in the CCleaner folder.
Also, make sure that ccleaner.ini is not named ccleaner.ini.ini or ccleaner.ini.txt or ccleaner.txt etc.
Maybe CCleaner is writing the settings to the registry.
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Piriform\CCleaner
and make sure that your settings are not being stored there.

Problem solved :\ I reinstalled the latest Firefox and redid the CCleaner portable, when I check the boxes now I am able to add the items from the Application page.
