CCleaner has deleted Bluestacks

I've just upgraded Ccleaner to the latest version, 5.06.5219 and I'm very disappointed. It has detected:

"Applications - BlueStacks 747.552 KB 38 files" and I clicked on "run cleaner". Now I click on Bluestacks shortcut or HD-StartLauncher.exe inside program files folder and it doesn't open anymore <_<.

Why did it do it? Ccleaner has never touched in Bluestacks or any other program!

It would've helped prove what you've stated had you taken a screenshot of CCleaner, it has that "text log" shown on screen immediately after it runs the cleaner which would've showed what it deleted.

This is the cleaner which is in CCleaner v5.06.5219 for "cleaning" BlueStacks:

[BlueStacks]
ID=2401
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKLM\Software\Bluestacks
Default=True
FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\BlueStacks\logs|*.log;*.log.*|RECURSE
FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\BlueStacks\logs|*.log
FileKey3=%CommonAppData%\BlueStacksSetup\Images\|*.*|REMOVESELF
FileKey4=%CommonAppData%\BlueStacksSetup|runtimedata_*.zip;runtimedata_*.zip.manifest
FileKey5=%CommonAppData%\BlueStacksSetup|bstInstall.log

From the cleaner listed above, and from the text you edited in and provided it will delete:

Logs, and some of the setup files.

Since it's breaking the program you can untick/disable BlueStacks in CCleaner, this will stop it from removing any files associated with the program.

I'll make a note so that an admin or bug fixer notices this topic about CCleaner breaking BlueStacks.

Thanks this has been passed on to the development team.

Thanks for your timely post. I was trying to figure out why sometimes BlueStacks wouldn't start until I rebooted the PC, now I know why.

I'm still using CC ver 4.19.4867 and that version breaks BlueStacks too. I've unchecked it in Applications. I know this older version won't get fixed so I'll just live with unchecking the app.

How to use bluestacks for ccleaner? I was downloaded bluestacks past 3 weeks ago but I didn't use it on any other thing but to emulate games.

Bluestacks is not for CCleaner! You'll have to read about it on its own website which this forum is not. Also I removed the URL link you posted since it wasn't an official website for the software in question.
