CCleaner gets being deleted after restart

Hi,

CCleaner (Pro 5.35) gets deleted after restart. I think this is done by Avast (Internet Security). Any suggestions why this may be or how to fix this?

it may be something Avast is doing based on the v5.33 security breach of CC.

is it happening at each reboot if CC is installed?

have you checked for updates to the Avast program (not the virus defs)?

if Avast is doing it, there should a log of the action in Avast somewhere.

if you do have CC v5.35 and can show it is Avast doing the removal, then add it to Avast as an exception.
