CCleaner for Business Installed, but won't open

I recently purchased CCleaner for Business through my company's SW procurement team. I installed v5.78 from https://www.ccleaner.com/go/get_ccbe and installed in Win10 Pro and the installation went fine (or at least, it appears to have gone fine). But it wouldn't open CCleaner after completing the install. I never got the window to enter my license or anything. CCleaner didn't show up in Task Manager as running blind either. Trying to start CCleaner from Start menu or command line didn't work. I booted into Safe Mode, and CCleaner ran just fine. I was able to enter my license, then run cleaner, registry cleaner, etc. Rebooting normally, CCleaner won't start again.

I've downloaded and installed the slim version in case there was an issue with AV, but that also doesn't start.

Company help desk said I need to contact Piriform. Company runs CrowdStrike and Windows Defender. Any suggestions?

As this is the business edition the solution is going to be beyond this user forum.

I suspect though that it's something in your company's security setup/ firewalls that is blocking CCleaner from working properly. (Most probably Crowdstrike).

Which is why it could work in Safe Mode, because the company filters would not be active there.

It probably just needs a few settings changed in your company security/firewalls as installed on your computer to allow CCleaner through.

If CCleaner is approved for purchase/installation by your SW procurement team then I should have thought they would be aware of this, have you tried contacting them again?
