CCleaner effect on Excel/Word recently used list

After I run CCleaner(most recent 64-bit version), it seems that I loose my "Recent" spreadsheet list in Excel 2013 and documents in Word 2013. Is this a settings issue with CCleaner or a problem with Excel/Word?

for me, simply unticking the Office 2013 entry on the Applications tab didn't help.

I had to setup the following EXCLUDE; %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office\Recent\
