I've been using CCleaner for a while now with no problems so I suggested it to a friend. She ran it yesterday and told me that it has erased her automatic password links. I thought she had put a tick in the password box by mistake but as you can see from the screenshot she didn't. Any idea why it is deleting her automatic password links?
She does have cookies checked for removal.
This may prevent recognition of her computer..
Thanks, I'll pass that on.
Bear in mind that the Adobe Flash Player entry also removes cookies (flash cookies.)
Okay. Not sure I understand the reference to Flash Player. I don't even know if she has Flash Player on her system however I have it on mine, it's ticked in CCLeaner and it doesn't cause any problems for me with regard to passwords.
some sites use flash cookies for their login, such as some banks.
you can tell ccleaner which cookies to keep in the cookies section of options. send any site you (or your friend) wish not to lose sign in for to the right hand pane.
if she can watch youtube she has flash.

But yeah, probably.
