I'm running Firefox v21 and CCleaner v4.03.4151. I just realized that when I run CCleaner it deletes all the sites that I entered into the exception list to have cookies allowed. In CCleaner's Application tab under the Firefox heading, if I unchecked the box marked Site Prefernces, the exception list remains intact. If I check the box again and run CCleaner all the sites in the exception list are deleted. I never had this happen before so I don't know if it's related to this version of CCleaner or the latest version of Firefox. It would be nice if CCleaner would go back to deleting Site Preferences but leave the exception list intact. I guess I'll just have to leave the SIte Preferences box unchecked for now. Is this way CCleaner was designed to work?
Opps, sorry I meant to say that I'm using Firefox v22 not v21!
I've had a cookie exception list saved on Firefox for years and now all of a sudden the new version of CCleaner is deleting my exception list! This is completely unacceptable.
When I use CCleaner, I make sure to have the Firefox "Cookies" box unchecked to make sure that CCleaner does NOT delete my firefox cookies, and now for some reason, it is deleting my Firefox cookie exception list every single time I run CCleaner.
My setup:
-Firefox 22
-CCleaner v4.03.4151
Me too!
I've got Firefox 21 and the latest stable version of CCleaner (4.03).
I've NEVER had this problem before now. Each time I run CCleaner, it wipes my Firefox cookie exception list clean! Along with me inserting specific cookie regulations in that "exceptions" box, a list of BAD cookie sites is automatically placed in that section for me, as well. However, now I can't keep those cookies permanently staying in that section and it is extremely frustratin to try and remember all the cookies I want to list and how to list them over & over again. I use CCleaner several times "daily" and therefore, I lose those cookies each time.
QUESTION:
Will there be a fix SOON (I hope!)?
