I recently switched from Avast to Avira.
I run CC every day after I've closed my browser. For the last few days, CC has been showing "Utilities-AntiVir Desktop" in the list of items deleted. This didn't happen when I used Avast.
Is it actually removing Avira components? If so, how do I stop it doing this?

Don't bother. I got an answer within seconds at the Avira site.

Your post on the avira forum made it sound as though you really had waited HOURS and HOURS for an answer here. Sometimes you have to wait a while, most forums like this one are just run by volunteers and members.

The second post over on the Avira forums that states AntiVir's protection stops it is the perfect answer! It's also the same way with Avast too, I don't know about AVG though.
