This happens as soon as CCleaner starts wiping the MFT Free Space on my external.

Hi,

Can you please let us know which file system you are using on your external disk? Is it NTFS or FAT32?

Do you have "Wipe MFT Free Space" checked in Options->Settings screen?

What other drives you have checked in the "Wipe Free Space drives" list?

Are you using CCleaner v2.29.1111? Is this only happening with this version?

Thanks
