I'm running CCleaner v1.33.382 under Windows XP Pro with SP2. When I run Cleaner|Analyze, it runs for a while and then crashes without an error message. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, it's the 1st time using Ccleaner.
I tried running in safe mode, and the program crashed with the following error information:
AppName: ccleaner.exe AppVer: 1.33.0.382 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2945 Offset: 00012a5b
I have also attached the file that Windows creates for a crash if anyone is interested.

it looks like its a windows problem.
do you have your XP CD?
if so, uninstall Ccleaner.
go to start then run (windows key+R).
type in "sfc /scannow" without the quotes.
it will scan your system files and may ask you to insert that XP CD if it finds any issues.
it should repair these.
after it's done, reboot, install Ccleaner, then reboot again and give it a try
let us know if that works.

Ran the sfc/scannow, and re-installed CCleaner. It appeared to run longer, but then crashed with the following:

It appears to be with Open Office 2.0. That was the last one displayed.

Running CCleaner V1.34.407, ran into same problem. Found this thread , ran with debug, dies on Open Office 2.0.
Other than getting rid of Open Office 2.0, any suggestions?
Uncheck oppenoffice in ccleaner's application tab.
That should fix your problem. MrG might have to fix something in the way ccleaner cleans openoffice.(although I haven't noticed this issue before )
Anyway let me know if that works.
