I have used CCleaner for quite a while and I must say it has worked wonderfully. However, I have noticed that under "Cookies" in Options it shows almost EVERY website I have ever visited. I have tried to delete the cookies, but it still shows the sites. It is important that I delete any trace of websites I have visited due to some "NSFW" materials. My workplace keeps track of what I do on their computers and I would like to keep my job so if CCleaner can view these sites the administrators of my network can view my sites. How do I remove the sites listed on CCleaner?
Hi rage,
Good news is you can bring up the browser like right now at the upper right and click on Tools then click on Delete Browsing History.
Bad news is administrators have other tools that show when and where you have "browsed the internet".
Best advice I can give is follow the rules. davey
Unfortunately, when I tried that it still showed up on CCleaner. Any other ideas?
P.S. The admins at my workplace aren't too bright, so they don't have anything installed yet, however they just finished a class and are making preparations to install tracking software. Ergo, I don't have anything to worry about YET.
YET IS CORRECT but maybe someone has been monitoring the network logs and thats why they are having a class.
What is your set up specs and what software etc. firefox ? ie7?
All those cookies in cookies to delete column?
All your boxes checked under browser?
Are your settings being saved?
Under OPTIONS > ADVANCED IS save all temp files unchecked?
Are you logged in as an Administrator?

Did you re-boot your computer after running CCleaner (only necessary to delete index.dat files)?
Go to Beginners Guide link listed at top of this forum.
Some Administrators are smarter than you think.Especially, if they like Country Music.
They can be very tactful. They have apparently given advance notice.Cclean up your act and follow
the rules.
