CCleaner 7 now runs as a Windows service, so it will be on all the time.

Sorry, I know that’s not what you wanted to hear.

You could always go back to CCleaner 6.39 which doesn’t run as a service.

How to Roll Back from v7 to v6.39

We now have numerous posts from users dissapointed with the new v7 and asking if/how they can roll back to v6.39.
