CCleaner Cleaner removes Installed FireFox extensions

When I run 'Cleaner' with the following selected to Clean:

Internet Cache

Internet History

Cookies

Download History

Session

My extensions in Mozilla Firefox 40.0.3 are deleted.

If you know which files store the installed Extensions information in Firefox, please reply below.

if you run "Analyze", did the result mention any extension that you've already installed?

you should also look for these two file, "extensions.ini" and "extensions.json"

It did not see either of those in the "Analyze" results list. So I checked this just now. I went ahead with cleaning all of the listed areas, and this time my Adblocker was preserved, though!

I cannot pinpoint what change occured to fix this.

It may have been possible that "extensions.ini" and "extensions.json" were being analyzed and removed, but I cannot check now. If I have the problem again, I will check to see if these result in the listing after choosing to "Analyze" my Firefox application.

Thanks
