CCleaner Browser

Hello, I have configured the homepage to appear with google.com.mx but I do not get it (I still get a new tab) How do I solve it?

For people wondering what this poster is talking about, CCleaner now has a browser (in preview stage) It's similar to Avast secure browser.

More info here.

You did this in settings?

When you click the home icon you will go to google.com.mx:

Perhaps he means the start page??

Some feedback.

Find in page works well.

In advanced options all Auto Fill options are ticked by default. You cannot see this on the page, you have to press the small selector beside each option.

I have managed to break a few things  Having to post this in a different browser now.

After a couple of screenshots Snip 'n Sketch refused to close or save so I am not able to posts the screenie of CC browser where it says''Your browser does not accept cookies which are required to log in'' Possibly to so with some cookie setting changes I made in Advanced settings (I think I said 3rd party only)

I tried to change the forum theme while in CC browser and got the error screenie below.

Also while in the browser on our forum , I saw this on main page at the bottom under Forum Rules.

So it's a browser with CCleaner, Adblock, and a few other things built in as standard.

TBH apart from the CC and Adblock, and maybe the camera block, I don't see much difference to what other browsers do as standard (Despite what the advertising blurb says).

And I can get CC or Adblock, or alternatives (and a camera cover) myself thanks very much.

(My camera and microphone are disabled in Device Manager anyway).

Private mode (Stealth mode), forced HTTPS, do not track, anti-blah, automatic history/cookie cleaning, etc. are all standard features in Firefox, Chrome, and the like.

Interesting thought, if CCleaner launches from within the browser than can it clean the browser itself while it's still open, or does it close the browser?

I don't think I'll be tempted to try it anytime soon.

Eating the elephant one bite at the time, the preview releases are getting the fundamentals out of the way before adding in the extra goodies - and yes, being able to live-clean the browser without closing it is one of the goodies in the pipeline.

That's what I did, what I want to do is that the first page I get when I open the browser is google.com.mx, not a new tab

Hi boto,

You can configure this by

- Go to Browser Settings (secure://settings/)

- Scroll to `New Session` (instead of Appearance)

- Select "Open a specific page or set of pages" and "Add a new page"

- Add site URL: <a href="https://www.google.com.mx" ipsnoembed="true" rel="external nofollow">https://www.google.com.mx</a>
