As far as "Check for updates" within the program, it works for me.
I just downloaded it late last night so I don't know of any other bugs as of yet.
No.. I had the first version of the beta.... read this post saying there was an update... loaded the Beta, clicked the "Check for updates" link... and it didn't come up with this newest version.
On another note...I'm assuming that 1.41.544 will eventually update automatically to the final version of 2.0 when it's done? JW
Looks like this Beta 2 of CC fixed MISSING DLL's not being cleared out. Using previous release (1.41.544), I could not remove the DLL's. Each time
it said it cleaned but it did not because if I reran ANALYZE and remove the same number of missing DLL's showed up in VISTA ULTIMATE. LATEST
VERSION OF VISTA ULTIMATE 32 BIT. Now, the only thing that still bugs me is why I can never clean up WINDOWS totally. I guess VISTA or applications or constantly refilling some small portions. Back in XP, I usually could get everything down to zero (0) bytes to remove. JUST
LIKE TO HEAR FROM THE EXPERTS TO CLEAR UP my doubts.
Running XPsp2. The latest beta version is removing the typed URLs in my IE7 browser drop down list, even though the clean box is deselected. I've returned to the latest pre-beta version to avoid this bug.
Great product, long time user. Dunno why I waited so long to join your forums here. This new beta is now cleaning all cookies (whereas I had some problems before). However my scan times have greatly increased, not sure why.
My specs..
Windows XP Pro SP2
2 gig of RAM
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
