CCleaner ANNIHILATED my computer, but I have a backup! How do I use it...?

Well, I guess it was more of me who annihilated the computer. CCleaner just provided me with the ability.

Anyway, here is what's up. I used CCleaner for the millionth time, and as always made a backup. Something horrible happened. I've restored windows (XP), ran several utilities, but I'm pretty sure it's a registry problem. It keeps running Check disk utility, which I'm sure I could turn off, but I don't see the point, because when I skip it, it blue screens and restarts.

So I've got this backup, but I don't know how to restore, seeing as I can't get to CCleaner. Help? Please?

The backup should be in 'my documents' by default if you didn't change it. If you find it just double-click it or right-click and select merge.

If you restored your xp to a time before you did the backup it could be tricky.

Can you boot into safe mode without it blue screening?

That's why everyone needs to use ERUNT which can restore the registry outside of Windows, and also some disk imaging software when ERUNT can't help!
