I just used my CCLeaner Pro Android app and in tips it showed me the high battery consumption apps so I chose several apps to force stop. I tried 7 times Force Stopping these apps nothing happens. Does anybody know why Force Stopping in Android apps isn’t working?
I’m replying to myself so some CCleaner user might see this and let me know. Several months ago I rolled back to CCleaner 6. The 7 Pro Plus was broken they shouldn’t have updated 6 until they knew what they were doing. Does anybody know if CCLeaner 7 Pro Plus is fixed as of 4/12/26?
I have a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL phone and the CCleaner Pro Plus app doesn’t clean anything since the Android 16 rollout. Do you know how much longer the CCLeaner Pro Plus app will be broken?
Hi @dadybear1234,
The issue you are reporting is on an Android device, and so not covered by CCleaner 6 or 7, which is a Windows application.
For the Android issue, please let me know which version of CCleaner for Android you are using. You can see this by tapping the three horizontal lines in the top left of the app and selecting About this app from the menu that appears.
The issue you resolved by rolling back from CCleaner 7 to CCleaner 7 please give me details of this issue so I can advise you further.
