CCleaner and AVG Files

When I run CCleaner 2.28.1091 it finds 64MB (20 files) of AVG Anti-Virus to be deleted as "Utilities". Is this normal? I have a slow Broadband and wonder if these files need to be found and deleted. Any advice appreciated.

Yes, they've probably accumulated over time and are now considered junk.

It should just be log files and old virus definitions. however if you are worried just uncheck AVG (in the Applications Tab)

this is what AVG deletes in CCleaner (each time you see filekey below it refers that what is deleted

Well done Nergal - Unchecking the "AVG Utilities" in "Applications" seems to have worked fine. The AVG Utilities files were being deleted every time I ran CCleaner. Many thanks for your help. Great Forum.

I use AVG as well and CCleaner often deletes 50MB worth of AVG stuff or so but this is mainly AVG logs, records of events in AVG such as when did it start, when did it update, or even scan results and deleting them is just fine, unless you want to keep track of AVGs activities or if there are any viruses found on one of the recent scans.
