CCleaner access the registry in Restricted Domain Network

Hi

In the job, my computer it´s in a domain network (windows) and my user profile can´t even read the registry of my account.

I don´t have access to almost anything in the system, but yesterday I download CCleaner and it performs a registry scan, and delete some entries.

How can it DO!?

Thanks

you need to bring this up with you head of IT they've misconfigured something if you were able to run ccleaner.what did you remove from the registry. Did you use the registry integrity section? Or just the the cleaner section (though from your post I assume the former) when you were prompted to make a back-up did you? If so, provide your IT manager with the copies of the backup, & take this as a teaching moment that if your not supposed to run something or you aren't sure what it does or is for, it's best not to use it.
