cCleaner 7 rollback

I have been using cCleaner since before it was bought out and renamed. Last month I decided it offered enough features and I had sufficient discretionary income to purchase it. I am sorry I did. I was happily using it until it auto updated me to v7.

I do believe I am not the only one to be disappointed in this version. I wanted to roll back but the link someone else on another topic provided has been deactivated. Support, sadly, is a joke. One can NOT “contact us”.

I am seriously disappointed. I’d like to roll back (officially) but I can’t find a way. I’d like to get a refund and I can’t find a way. I may have to resort to deleting it and disputing the charge with my credit card - but I’d much prefer to settle this amicably. Does anyone have a solution?

UPDATE: I found v6.39 at {removed}, a site I trust. So if you too are looking at this post because of the title, you may want to look.

There is already a thread here (and it has been here for several days now for anyone caring to look) giving you the official download link for v6.39 so that you do not have to resort to 3rd party download sites (and risk being the victim of bad-actors taking advantage of the current situation).

We now have numerous posts from users dissapointed with the new v7 and asking if/how they can roll back to v6.39. Whilst normally I would say that you should use the latest version that works on your machine I also believe that you should have the choice to roll back from a major feature update.
