In the new Version 7, Keep Cookies from trusted sites not working (e.g. I log into NY Times site and preserve the site, but it logs me out after I clean). Using latest version of MS Edge.
ccleaner 7 > custom clean > settings > cookies > keep cookies from trusted sites > added [www.nytimes.com]
I had the same problem. Spent half an hour putting my trusted websites into the keep cookies from trusted sites. But then when I ran a scan it cleared all cookies even the ones I told it to keep. If you can’t save any cookies then the program is basically worthless.

Yes indeed. I hope the developers read these forums, as there doesn’t seem to be a way to log a bug unless you have the paid version (which I would pay for if this functionality actually worked, as it is the primary reason I use CCleaner!)
I have been a user since V3.x. This function has been working flawlessly from 3.x to 6.x. I did more testing on V7, and it appears to be a major bug. Of the sites I tested below, only 2 sites had cookies preserved and kept me logged in:
facebook - does not work
nytimes - does not work
pixabay - works
x - works
yahoo - does not work
youtube - does not work
