It’s not in the settings menu. I tried starting Ccleaner with “Run as Administrator”. Is this a bug?
that feature is not in CCleaner 7 at the moment, but you are not the first to ask for this back so here’s hoping.
Hi @swtrex,
This option is not currently available in CCleaner 7.
If you’d like to see this feature added to CCleaner 7 in the future, please submit your suggestion via the Ideas Portal, located in the left-hand menu of the application. This helps us gauge interest and prioritize enhancements based on user feedback.
Why you would remove a useful feature such as this is beyond me. I have cancelled my subscription.
I use the feature daily - why would it even be considered for removal in this new version? Let’s make it more inconvenient to use ccleaner. Yeah! Great idea!! No - put it back. Following MS’s lead for making things harder to use and harder to find. Less clicks devs - less not more - clicks.
I have used CC since the days when it was originally named CrapCleaner. I bought the ‘paid’ versions since 2016. Congratulations on turning CrapCleaner into genuine crap with v7.0, which corrupted various system files in my W10 Pro OS. And your company had the audacity to jack my automatic renewal price to $39.99 FOR ONE PC license in September! The original OLD FREE versions of CC worked far better than this Junkware v7.0. Did the North Koreans buy CC Inc to torment American users? Shame on all CC developers for producing a major Bug Bomb!
You installed CC v7 on a Windows 7 PC? A Windows 7 PC, really? I still have a legacy W7 PC but I don’t need CC on it … since I wouldn’t dream of running W7 on today’s Internet.
My bad…I have Windows 10, not 7.
