CCleaner 5.23.5808 won't clean System - Windows Log Files; that is, 1 file, 512 KB. Is there a bug in the new update? How do I fix this?

DEvs are aware of this issue.

Same problem. Just downloaded 5.23. Won't clean" Systems Windows Log File 10,2440 2 files." It never goes away, just reappears every time I clean. How do I get rid of it?

As has already been said, the developers are aware of this issue and are working on it.

If you want to, just go back to build 5.22

Build 5.22 does not remove (Clean) Windows Log Files either! Have had this issue through several versions of CCleaner. :angry: In particular C:/ . . . /Windows/WebCache/???.log and C:/ . . ./WebCache/???tmp.log.
