Will we be able to beta test this when it comes out?
I don't know how Piriform beta tests, but I'm sure they have their methods or whatever
Like Winapp2.ini I also don't know how they beta test, or if they do that anymore to the public. The only betas I remember are of Speccy and Defraggler.
Thinking of version 4 already is premature in my opinion, well I'd assume that's it's a very long way off since we're still in the version 3 era only at v3.23.1823 with a ton of version numbers between that and an eventual v4.0 version number.
Of course v4.0 could have a Metro UI which would have me cringe.
I agree that 4.x.x is rushing the version numbers. Look what happened to firefox, they're what, up to 18 by now or something? Ughh. In any case I hope it is not a metro interface. I also hope there are not any major changes in installation procedure. And furthermore it will need to work Windows XP.

Yeah I know, CCleaner did the same with a major jump from a 2.x version to 3.x.

I dint think it is either too fast or too slow, nor do I believe it's just right. Version numbers (in a non-google/Mozilla world) come from "major changes" (often UI)
I assume at least some win8 UI is coming to it, and maybe some features from pro (note: I have no more knowledge than the original poster, so don't take that as some sort of information/leak.
