The latest version of CCLEANER has a monitoring facility
This leaves a stub active to advise if the crud exceeds a certain amount
However many users do not want this facility.
If this sort of online monitoring was always mandatory, computers would be unuseable
I went into the settings and turned it off
I restarted ccleaner and the monitoring returned
I used startup to disable the link but the minute ccleaner was restarted, it created a new one
Sadly this forced me to return to the previous version
I hope this can be corrected soon
