Hello there,
I've been using CCleaner for years, but it seems I cannot update to 2.28 and have to stick to 2.27, because 2.28 takes about 30 seconds to clean where 2.27 only took 3 seconds.
I have defined many custom folders to be deleted (by defining its folder name as a custom file), but seemingly version 2.28 does a "get file info" OS call on every file in those folders before deleting them! I examined this behavior by using Sysinternals "FileMon".
The old version did not do so. It just deleted the folder, and that's it.
So 2.28 is dramatically slower than 2.27 and there is much hard disk activity, where 2.27 just did a short "blink" of the HDD led and it was over.
It would be nice if you could fix that. Thank you very much!
Best regards,
