I just installed CCleaner 2.00.495 RC2 on my computer running windows Vista x64 all updates applied and CCleaner want add the entries to my recycle bin "Open CCleaner, Run Cleaner".
Just thought the Devs would like to know seems like a bug to me. I also have Vista x32 and everything installed properly.
Edit:
Also I have some errors that I cant seem to get cleaned up. When i started useing CCleaner with vista x32 1.40, 1.41 i had this same problem it would not fix some errors but when i went back to an old compy of CCleaner 1.38 they were fixed and after reinstalling 1.40, 1.41 the errors were gone but new one poped up that could not be removed again. Also after installing 2.00.495 RC2 on vista x32 and replaceing 1.41 2.00495 RC2 fixed teh errors 1.41 would not.
Does anyone know anything about this problem? I know not haveing entries in the teh menue for the recycle bin is no real big deal but somehting is not working properly for that to happen and it not being able to fix errors

the run CCleaner/open CCleaner entries can be added via the options menu in CCleaner and it WILL add them..
or at least it did for me... it just wouldn't do it on install automatically...
and about the registry... it could be that CCleaner is finding/removing entries that some program keeps putting back... but CCleaner doesn't really do much as far as the registry cleaner.. I mean.. it cleans it up.. but its nothing major if you don't use it... or have a few entries...
so it leaving a couple registry entries that it thinks are bad... doesn't mean your computer is screwed...
