if yes I'm assuming a restart of the computer (or even of just the explorer process) does not return the icon?
All this entry is supposed to do is remove your settings of Always Hide/Hide when inactive/Always Show
right click the notification area (where the Battery Icon was) and choose properties then the customize button on this screen, press it. There you should find the battery icon and you should be able to switch it to always show
if this still is not the case I can look into it further for you
(note, I don't use this entry in ccleaner, unless I have a bunch of programs listed I don't ever use, as I hate having to redo all of my hide/shows)
