CC deletes my Remote desktop connection files (.rdp)

CC deletes all my Remote desktop connection files (.RDP).

How do I tell CC to keep all .RDP files?
This is the second time I have posted here for support and no joy.
Please advise.

By default it shouldn’t be deleting rdp. Where are they saved? Are you using custom clean or healthcheck? (based on the answers to those more questions will be asked).

That’s instructions for ccleaner 6 (and an old one at that)
Network passwords (in 7.7) are found when you use custom clean. They are on the junk tab under the heading Windows. That said I just ran network passwords and it did not have a effect on my default.rdp (though I’m using the same user on the host machine as with the client so that might be why)
I looked through the rules ccleaner uses (ccleaner.ini in your ccleaner program folder) and no rules explicitly remove rdp files

Thank you for the follow up - Was last month don’t remember - ran a Health check and still had files.
Assume Custom clean.

hmm, well that’s not gonna help. as last month CCleaner was on 7.6, so i’d recreate the rdps and run custom clean’s default (network passwords is unchecked by default, it could still be something else, but I agree with you that it’s the most likely candidate).

Ran custom again and retained .RDP files.
Thanks - get an big fat atta’boy
