it will if Edge or anything Edge related (so may include IE) is still running.
check the Task Manager to confirm.
another test would be to run CC with the PC in Safe Mode, that way there is a whole lot less things running in the background that could cause the skipping.
what is your version of Win10?
but at the end of the day, Edge is still a work in progress and Piriform seem to be having a tough time of it, with MS moving the goal posts with repeated Edge updates.
