Been playing about with the various options today with no joy yet.
On Friday I left work.... Returned Tuesday and a .txt file has dissapeared from my desktop... The files not even in recycle bin.
So I installed recuva to find it.
On Friday I must have deleted the file by accident and run ccleaner (but I'm sure I ran ccleaner earlier in the day). I say this because the file is not in the recycle bin...
Also on Monday maybe the person standing in for me emptied the recycle bin...
How far up the creek am I?
I've searched the desktop (no joy) and using one of the guides posted here to search the recycle bin again (search without deep, then search with deep). I think its going to search all night
EDit: after searching recycle bin there is "unable to determine file system" with a weird drive after it. Lots of files returned but nothing from 2017.. wut?
