I tried to update CC cleaner numerous times. Thought was Kaspersky which was blocking me and took that off. When I click on the download button I get a little box on the bottom of my screen which asks to I want to open or run ?
Regardless of which one I click I get CCSETUP507_exe Could not be downloaded. I'm frustrated because the version I'm running is woefully out of date and it need of being
updated.
Where are you downloading it from? Have you tried different sites?
Change the _ to a . And it should work. I've had this happen in internet explorer before, usually caused by a corrupted cache
Same thing my friend Nergal stated above, however explained a bit different:
CCSETUP507_exe is not a valid EXE extension, it's missing the required dot, it should be ccsetup507.exe
Also make sure you're downloading from Piriform.com, try the slim build installer from here:
