cannot update since v5.44

I use the free version.

since v5.44, I cannot update:

I run the installation ( v5.46 v5.47 v5.48 ) , it displays “please wait while Setup is loading…”, … and then nothing!

I have uninstalled to reinstall … only the v5.44 works ???

What operating system are you using?

What security software do you have?

Are you able to uninstall CCleaner and then download the slim build and install it from here?
