Cannot register my CCleaner with registration key

I cannot register my CCleaner Professional account with my new registration key. I bought a keys for my three computers (2 MacBooks and a iMac). And, when I attempted to register the CCleaner on one of my MacBooks, I received the following message: The registration process failed to save the key file.

Help! Does any one have a suggested fix for this problem?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am using CCLeaner for MAC. Any other suggestions?

This is mentioned in the link below which however is for Windows. It says

''This usually means you are not running CCleaner with the correct permissions''

Sorry, that wasn't a suggestion, it was me doing housecleaning and moving it to the correct board.

How many keys did you buy? If only one then was it a key for multiple machines?

If it's a key for one machine only and you've registered it for one machine then it would not be valid for a second machine at the same time.
