I am attaching some screen captures with the errors I get, trying to install and then when I finally was able to do it after almost a week of trying, I finally gave up and endured your reCaptcha version [ I hate it ! ]. Once I installed latest CCleaner ver: 5.44.6575 I got another error. Signing in as administrator just gave me a new error when I tried to update. This is totally frustrating. Speccy Pro updated and runs fine now 1.32.740. Recuva Pro is 1.53.1087, and Defragger Pro is 2.22.995. They work fine!
I cannot rename the cCleaner program to ccsetup528.exe as suggested by someone before, because I don't have a separate CCleaner installer with the 4 Pack Pro set, which is:
CCleanerBundle-1116-Setup
Any help would be appreciated. My system uses Windows 7.1, with a 500 Gb SSD System Drive and 32 Gb of DDR 3 Ram.
then go into the Program Files folder for CC and delete its contents
(keep the .ini file if you have customised settings)
download the latest free build of CC from here; <a href="https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds" rel="external nofollow">https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds</a>
reboot the PC then install CC from your downloaded file.
if no luck, try the install with the PC in Safe Mode.
that will install the free version, if successful, go into CC > Options > About and enter your license details to make it the Pro version.
there have been many issues with the latest version (like not liking Kaspersky), if the above points don't work, try with an earlier version, like v5.40, available from FileHippo.
