I have installed recently CCleaner v. 1.41.0544. Works beautifully. Only one problem. Cannot find any place either ther registry back up or the issues backup. I checked the options entry using regedit, and does not include many of the supposed entries like Backup etc. Do I reinstall? Help!! I am scared to use it because as a newbie I might do something wrong and fail to correct it.

Hello figeater and welcome to the forum
When you do an issues scan you are offered the choice of making a backup of the reg issues you are going to clean. If you choose yes, it is saved by default in my documents. Just right click and choose merge and the entries would be returned.
