Cannot disable auto-renew: entered wrong email

Hello everyone,

I accidentally entered the wrong email address when activating my CCleaner Professional license. Now, every time I try to cancel the auto-renewal, the site asks me to log in with that email—but I can’t access it.

Could a moderator or staff member please advise how I can disable auto-renewal? I’m happy to share my license key via private message or follow any other verification process.

Thank you for your help!

If you used an incorrect email address then I am wondering how you have a licence key?

The licence key is sent to the email address that you use when purchasing; so you won’t recieve that key if you used an incorrect address.

Is this perhaps a 30 day/60day trial of CCleaner Pro?

This is a user forum. We do not have access to accounts/billing here.
(We used to have some helpful staff who visited, but it doesn’t happen much these days).

You will need to contact support for account issues.

You can raise a support ticket by using the form here: CCleaner Support Community

However you should note that support are slow to answer these days and it can take a week or more for a registered customer to get a reply.

Further you should note that the automatic support queue works off email addresses.
If the email you use when sending the form is not showing as registered to a current valid licence then you will not be seen as someone who has (currently) paid for support.
As an apparent ‘non-payer request’ your request will be non-priority and it may be a very long time (month or more) before the system even shows your request to a support person.

Note that sending multiple requests will slow things down even further.
Each new request you send gets collated with any previous ones still outstanding and sent to the back of the queue as one new request.
I’m affraid that you will just need to be paitient.
