Am unable to cancel. I have had a chat open for an hour. I just want to cancel before it auto renews. It should not be this difficult.

If you still have that chat open then tell the chat bot that you want to speak to a human agent about a subscription, if/when it says it’s ‘intelligent and can help just as well’ simply repeat that you want to speak to a human agent about a subscription and it should then put you through.
Another option may be to raise a new ticket but don’t use the Live Chat and just wait for someone to email you back.
