I've been trying various programs all night and getting nowhere. Just want something to stitch together some HD mp4 vids, ideally with transitions and basic editing. That is all. The ones I've tried either don't support mp4/HD, are unstable (VLMC) or are an overcomplicated nightmare to try to work out (eg Lightworks, Jahshaka, Wax).
Any suggestions? (WinXP)
I think you're hitting a blank because of the HD aspect JD.
Does your end result have to be HD? I'm guessing yes, but I was thinking along the lines of converting them to maybe WMV and using Windows own MovieMaker to do your editing with transitions.
I'll keep a look out for something on the HD side however.
Does it have to be free? Have you tried Sony Vegas or Pinnacle Studio?
