Can I scan a network drive for deleted pictures?

I deleted some important pictures off my Western Digital World book network drive -- Recuva sees the network location but is seeing it as a PC on the network not a drive -- Is there anyway to get it to scan for deleted pictures without hooking in directly to my PC?

Any help would be greatly appreciated -- hubby is very upset -- need help please

No, sadly recuva, and most other non-specialized recovery software, can not see network attached storage. Drives must be physically attached to the computer and mapped,by widows as a drive letter.
