I have selected the option so that ccleaner does not clean the hidemyip directory and it's files but it still stops the HideMyIP software working after about 2 days - with about 10 cleans during the 2 days. What is the cause and how can I fix it please? The HideMyIP software people said it was Ccleaner software casuing the problem because when you uninsatll Ccleaner their software works 100%. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Unless another member is using that software, a solution will probably be a case of trial and error.
Some more information may help, such as are you just running the temp file cleaner or the registry "Issues" feature as well?
Operating System and browser may also help.
Which HideMyIP file/folder location do you have excluded from being cleaned, and could there be other locations where this software stores information?
If HideMyIP uses anything via Internet Explorer's cookies or temporary internet files that's a place to look into.
