I downloaded and ran the entire suite of CCleaners products (Professional version) yesterday after my computer crashed with a different error message earlier that day. When I read the answers.microsoft response it said it had something to do with AVAST which I did not download and do not have on my computer. Did something in this suite of software cause this error? I was trying to correct the one from yesterday by downloading and running it in the first place. I have Win 8.1.
I'm afraid you haven't given enough information at the moment to enable us to even hazard a guess at what the cause of your issue is.
What was the different error message you had which prompted you to download Ccleaner in the first place?
Without this info we will just be guessing answers.
