Brave Browser Auto Clean

This has been asked and answered, kinda. I added a new string value to the registry (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Piriform\CCleaner) called CustomLocation1 with value (C:\Users\204013683\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default). This is all that I have done and all that it appears I need to perform but I am not seeing that anything is automatically happening when I close the Brave browser. Is there something else that I need to do?

it'll be cleaned by the cleaners for its parent browser (I believe for brave it's chrome but maybe it's firefox). I've only used the ini method of customlocation so not sure if you're doing it correctly.

Can you give me directions for the ini method. I cannot find the ccleaner.ini file. Should and how do I created it? Where is located?

It looks like you misread step six

you need to write firefox or chrome (whichever is the parent browser) in the value data 

CHROME|C:\Users\204013683\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default

is what you need I believe

Where is the the value data: text box located. Where is the ccleaner.ini file.

I appreciate your help but A step by step procedure to do this would be helpful because not everyone is as computer savvy as you seem to be.

Ignore ini file. The value I gave you is for the registry method you used, you just left out which browser family gets the customlocation

Ohhhh. I missed that, thank you.

Ok, it is fixed and it does clean when I open Ccleaner and run the Analyze/Run Cleaner method, PERFECT.

But it does not do the Auto-Clean when I close the Brave browser like it does for Chrome or IE or Firefox. Is there a way to add Brave as an Auto-Clean function every time it is closed?

That I do not know, i've only used customlocation of parent browsers which are monitored by the ccleaner "smart cleaning" function.
