I was going to use the Uninstaller to remove a program and wasn't paying attention and accidentally deleted the uninstall function for the program. I tried running an upgrade to the software to see if that would solve the issue, but to no avail.
How do I now uninstall the program?
When I come acoss this situation, I do an install, reboot, uninstall and delete the folder/files left behind. Most of the time the uninstaller will remove the classID's and I run CC to clean the registry.
I dont think there is a text book procedure for this scenario exactly.
If the program uses its own uninstall .exe file look in the installed program folder for something like these:
uninst.exe
unins000.exe
uninstall.exe
...etc
If all else fails try to use Revo Uninstaller Free to get rid of it.
