Being ignored by CCleaner support Chat

I have attempted contact CCleaner support multiple days, multiple times and only ever got through once. Regarding a refund of an unauthorised subscription, so not sure if I’m being ignored for some reason, as the first person I spoke to said I’d only be able to process the refund after 24hr of it coming out of my account.

the chat bot estimates 20-30 minutes and then I’m just in the queue seemingly endlessly

A lot of us are in the same boat. No idea what we are supposed to do, the customer service is incredibly poor. To not have an email address or another form of contacting them in 2025 is ridiculous. The amount of people being charged automatically is unacceptable.

it is my third attempt for today and still no human to chat, so frustrating.

Without excusing them much: (Because I know it won’t be better at other times either).

Monday morning is the peak time with the longest connection to an agent delays for ANY customer support, any company, anywhere in the world.
All of the saved-up over the weekend issues get fired at support people on Monday mornings.

So an already not-fit-for-purpose support just gets even more clogged up on Mondays.

I got cut off after two hours of waiting. I’ve also been trying for days to get my subscription cancelled and refunded. I got through briefly on Friday and then after a few minutes they cut me off again!

Same here. tried last Friday with no luck and again this morning. This is ridiculous.

Update: I just got my bank to sort it :blush:
