Some 70% of my total battery drain is coming from Telegram and I don't know why (because I barely use it)
Any idea why?
I see that this is listed as a known issue for the iOS version, described here: https://bugs.telegram.org/c/2386 - while that doesn't mean for certain that it would also be an issue for the Android version, certainly seems possible.
This discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/Telegram/comments/jf5h8k/using_20_of_battery_life/ echoes the sentiment and I see a note in one of the top responses that it was happening in Android as well for the user posting.
I did see a suggestion in looking into this that uninstalling and reinstalling the Telegram app helped with this for at least a few users, so that may be worth a quick try.
