Back to square one...

Ok, here's my story. I put CCleaner in my Toshiba Sattelite 1555 CDS (running Windows 98 SE). I got Run Time Error 0. I came here and was told to update the VB6 file. I downloaded that file, re-ran CCleaner and got the message lang-1033.dll missing. I was told to update CCleaner, so I did. I defraged my computer, took the old CCleaner out and put the new one in. As soon as I clicked on the icon, I got the original message - Run Time Error 0.

I'm pulling my hair out! The CCleaner runs just fine on my main computer and a brand new laptop I just got. I can't use my browser/internet on the Toshiba until I get the registry back in order.

Any suggestions????

Since the operating system is Win98 you need to restart Windows after installing the MS Visual Basic Runtime files. I'm unsure but maybe they have to already be installed and registered on your system before installing CCleaner.
