Avoid removing icons from urls

I wonder how I can avoid removing these small icons which for many sites are attached and saved together with the url when you add favourites to the browser? They are disapearing after CCleaner has done its job...

They're called favicon(s). Search the forum for them using this search; as it has been discussed before how to make a backup of them.

The icons are in the Temporary Internet Files cache ... look for file type .ico You lose them because CCleaner is cleaning the cache.

To keep them, copy to another folder and use the Properties > Change Icon to point to the saved copy.
